Managers need to manage work product and input while leading people.  This means that in addition to understanding and implementing general leadership skills like creating shared and inspiring visions, engaging employees and, building business relationships managers need to be effective problem solvers and resource managers.

How We Do It

MaxPotentials uses a process involving the following key steps to assess the organizational challenges and opportunities, clarify the goals of the intervention and determine the most effective strategy to meet the needs of the organization or individual.

Assessments: The assessment phase provides a clear picture of the business problem to be addressed.  This is performed through interviews, employee surveys, 360° feedback assessments or, various other assessment tools.

Analysis:  MaxPotentials analyses the results of the assessment to identify the most effective intervention strategies.  Fundamental to this process are the needs, culture and goals of the organization.

Intervention:  MaxPotentials partners with client organizations to design interventions that effectively address the organizational challenge in a sustainable manner.  We work with clients to identify specific objectives and measurement criteria expected from the strategy.  Examples of Intervention strategies for Management Development include:

  • Coaching:  Working one on one with managers to build management and leadership skills.  We coach high potentials employees, new executives or underperforming managers to help them identify and assess their strengths as well as recognize and overcome barriers to personal productivity and effectiveness.  MaxPotentials offers methods for documenting goals and goal attainment to support the learning and create sustainable professional development.
  • Management Training:  MaxPotentials designs and delivers courses to meet the specific needs of adult learners and, increase the retention and long term application of learning in the workplace.   We do this by engaging learners in interactive exercises, applying multimodal educational techniques and creating a dynamic and energizing learning environment.  Examples of key management development courses include:
